Monaco never does subtle, especially during Grand Prix week. But even by its standards, this one turns heads. A rare Koenigsegg Jesko and a full-blown Audi Formula 1 car have been craned onto a 236-foot multi-million dollar superyacht, transforming the marina into a marvellous spectacle.
It was orchestrated by Ultimate Superyacht founder Tom Claeren – this isn’t his first time doing such a stunt. The superyacht here is the $75 million Stella Maris, a floating palace complete with a spa, pool, beach club and gym.
The Koenigsegg Jesko, which is estimated to be worth between $2.8 million and $3 million, acquires the helipad, whereas the Audi F1 car has been placed on the beach club deck. Accompanying them on the superyacht is a sculpture of an F1 car created by French artist Antoine Dulfilho.
We witnessed a similar scene earlier this year when the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls (VCARB) team revealed its one-off livery with DJ Khaled hosting the unveiling aboard a yacht. Drivers Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad, along with the team boss Alan Permane and CEO Peter Bayer, were present at the event.
