American supercar enthusiast and collector Kris Singh wanted his next Pagani to be truly unique. Although he does own one of the most striking Zondas ever made – the Arriverderci – he wanted his upcoming Utopia to really stand out.

Singh roped in the experts at Karosserie to create a bespoke paint for his Pagani while he went shopping for some raw materials. The colour, which was developed over 3 years, uses gold bar shavings and actual moon rock. The latter was purchased by Singh via an auction.

According to Kris, using real gold and crushed moon rock in the paint makes it difficult to apply to carbon fibre and aluminium. The interior has been “designed to match the Italian style and fashion” and will be trimmed in the finest leather.

The gold Pagani Utopia was inspired by a painting called “Madonna of the Carnation” by Leonardo da Vinci, which is why Kris has named his new Pagani “Madonna of the Car Nation”.

What we have here is the first image of the Pagani Utopia “Madonna of the Car Nation” with the gold and moondust paint. The car will be revealed in October.
