The 2027 BMW M5 facelift has been spotted testing yet again. This time, the new version of the German sedan has been spied at the Nurburgring.
The first spy images of the G90 M5 facelift surfaced earlier this year. The prototype was heavily camouflaged back then. And the one that has been caught on camera now is still fully under wraps.
But since this is a video, we get to hear the 2027 BMW M5 facelift exhaust note. The 4.4L twin-turbo V8 engine continues to bring a sweet smile to our faces. It might not be the most thrilling sound out there, but it should get the job done. The plug-in hybrid powertrain in the current M5 makes 717 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque, and comes mated to an 8-speed automatic and an all-wheel drive system.
The upcoming G90 M5 facelift will be using BMW’s Neue Klasse design philosophy. It will come equipped with redesigned LED headlights, a reworked kidney grille, wraparound LED taillights, and quad exhausts.
