A BMW M2 owner has finally found the best exhaust setup for his beloved vehicle. And it has made his car sound like a Nissan GTR.
We can see in the video that the M2 owner has already tried a few exhaust setups, but he wasn’t fully satisfied with the sound. While the stainless steel setup gave too much rasp, the titanium pipes came with a lot of droning. We then get to listen to the M2 sound with both these systems.
Now, in his search for the perfect sound, the owner found a midpipe with a Z-type design. So he got rid of his titanium setup and slapped on the new one. And, to be honest, even the cold start sounds pretty brutal. Then he revs the car, giving us a listen to the burble and bangs. And while there’s still some unwanted raspiness at high-pitch, it sounds much better.
Where’s the Nissan GTR sound, you ask? Well, wait for the last part of the video. When this guy pulls off in his BMW M2, the exhaust note does sound like that of Godzilla. The growling and howling is indeed perfect for a sports car like the M2. Do you think it’s the perfect exhaust sound for it?
