Xiaomi’s Vision GT concept for Gran Turismo looks epic!

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has unveiled a new design concept for a futuristic hypercar at the 2027 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. It’s called the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo.

The Xiaomi Vision GT is based on a 900-volt Silicon Carbide architecture, which, according to the company, can deliver over 1900 hp. This puts it in the league of electric hypercars like the Rimac Nevera and Lotus Evija.

While the car has the muscle to take on the fastest EVs on the planet, an extreme aerodynamic design helps keep it glued to the tarmac. It uses massive venturi tunnels which suck the car to the ground. The air enters from the front and is ejected from the tail section. The air flowing over the top is guided by the central shark fin. Even the wheels have unique aero covers designed to suck air out of the wheel arches and cool the carbon ceramic brake rotors.

The interior looks just as radical as the exterior. The Vision GT features a racy and compact steering wheel and a full-width head-up display. The seats are fixed and moulded into the carbon fibre monocoque. The car even has a drift mode.
