Ex-Red Bull F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo is selling his Aston Martin Valkyrie. The car will go under the hammer at the Zoute Concours Auction in October. It is estimated to sell for around $3.3 million.
Chassis no. 089 was ordered new by Ricciardo and was delivered through Aston Martin Monaco. It’s an EU-spec left-hand drive example that was customised via Aston Martin’s “Q” bespoke division.
Ricciardo’s Valkyrie is finished in a special Dichroic Dawn colour nicknamed “Badger Blue”. It has a glossy lacquer finish on the roof and engine cover, magnesium wheels and an exposed 2×2 twill satin carbon interior with Pure Black Debossed Alcantara upholstery.
This Valkyrie has over $190,000 worth of options in total. The iridescent paint alone cost $40,000. The car has just under 100 miles on the odometer.
Powering the Valkyrie is a Cosworth-built 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 mated to a Rimac-sourced KERS hybrid system. Its combined output is 1176 hp, which is channelled to the rear wheels via a 7-speed single-clutch automated manual transmission.
