Ferrari has revealed its new entry-level V8 model. The new Ferrari Amalfi replaces the Roma in the brand’s lineup and is expected to go into production later this year.

The Ferrari Amalfi is essentially a facelift version of the Roma. However, the updates are significant. The front fascia has been completely redesigned and now features a black bar connecting to the sharp LED headlamps. The body-coloured grille has been replaced with a redesigned bumper, which houses the grille and cooling ducts.

The Amalfi gets a tweaked rear end with an upright fascia and a black strip connecting the quad LED taillights. The interior has also been revamped with a new touchscreen infotainment system and a new steering wheel with proper, physical buttons instead of touch-capacitive switches.

Under the hood is the same 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine as the Roma. It now produces 631 hp and 561 lb-ft of torque and is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic. Ferrari claims the new Amalfi can go from 0-62 mph in 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 198 mph.

The Amalfi also comes with Ferrari’s new brake-by-wire system, an active rear spoiler, which can generate 242 lbs of downforce at 155 mph, and Side Slip Control 6.1.
