It shows the U9 accelerating to over 75 mph autonomously. The trick suspension gets into its act just as the car approaches a pothole. It pushes the car into the air briefly with force of more than a tonne, before softly landing on the other side of the obstacle.

The YangWang U9 is powered by four electric motors producing 1288 hp. BYD claims it can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 2.36 seconds and has a top speed of 243.5 mph.

The U9 uses an 80 kWh battery, which supports charging rates of up to 500 kW. It can cover up to 280 km on a single charge.
