Alfa Romeo has unveiled a modern interpretation of the legendary Tipo 33 Stradale – a car known not just for its racing pedigree, but also for its gorgeous looks.

The new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale draws inspiration from the historic 1967 model. Its exterior is a seamless fusion of well-proportioned forms, with the front end featuring a commanding and muscular stance, highlighted by the iconic shield and intricately shaped elliptical-base headlights.

The dynamic side profile features butterfly doors with integrated air inlets. According to the company, the corner apertures of the doors and the expansive wraparound sunroof offer a cockpit-style view reminiscent of aircraft interiors. The car is said to have exceptional aero efficiency, without relying on active systems.

The 33 Stradale is available in two trim levels: Tributo and Alfa Corse. Step inside, and you will find a steering wheel stripped of its customary buttons. The cockpit-inspired instrument panel accommodates controls, including overhead switches integrated into the roof lining. The aviation-inspired dashboard and central tunnel incorporate materials like aluminium, carbon fiber, leather, and Alcantara.

The 33 Stradale is powered by a twin-turbo V6 engine that develops 620 hp and is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, which drives the rear axle via an electronic limited-slip differential. Interestingly, the 33 Stradale is also available with an all-electric powertrain. The BEV setup generates over 750 hp and has a claimed range of 450 km (WLTP cycle). Both iterations are capable of delivering similar levels of performance. Alfa Romeo claims a 0-62 mph time of 3 seconds and a top speed of 206 mph.

Production of the 33 Stradale has been capped at 33 units. This limited edition supercar costs $3.27 million and it’s already sold out.
