The one-off Bugatti Chiron Profilée made its public debut late last year. In February 2023, the car sold at RM Sotheby’s Paris auction for $9.5 million. Since then, we haven’t heard much about this unique automobile.
The Chiron Profilée is the final iteration of the Chiron, which was supposed to be a series production model. However, all 500 slots of the Chiron were sold out even before the model could be announced. Hence, Bugatti decided to auction off the only prototype that existed of the car.
The Profilée was recently spotted in public by Autogespot. The unique dual-tone exterior and the bespoke wheels look stunning under sunlight. Also, note that the car is now registered in Germany.
The Profilée uses the same 8.0-liter W16 engine as the standard model, except it now revs to 6900 rpm. Bugatti has also tweaked the steering and suspension and revised the gear ratios for better acceleration.
The Profilée was not the only Bugatti that was spotted on that day. There was an ultra-rare Centodieci and the famous Transformers-themed Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse parked at the same location.
