Here’s an interesting Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut spec that recently surfaced on social media. The Jesko Komet is not a real car but a spec idea created by @koenigseggjesko.registry in collaboration with @lmm23design.
As the name suggests, the inspiration for this spec was the fireball seen when a comet / asteroid enters the Earth’s atmosphere. The front of the car is painted in Pearl White that fades into Sweet Mandarin at the rear – kind of like the long fiery tail of the space rock.
The front splitter, wing mirrors, rear fins, and diffuser is finished in exposed carbon fibre. The car also has carbon wheels with the aero-optimized variety in the rear.
Inside, the Jesko Komet features Desiato alcantara upholstery with Lava Orange drift pattern stitching.
This fireball spec suits the Jesko Absolut, the low-drag version of the hypercar. This variant is slightly longer, and Koenigsegg has done away with the large rear wing for a more slippery design.
At its heart is a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a peak output of 1600 hp and 1106 lb-ft of torque. The engine drives the rear wheels via a 9-speed multi-clutch transmission. It is estimated to reach speeds in excess of 300 mph.
