After months of rumors and speculations, the day has finally arrived when we get to see the Bugatti Centodieci in its full glory.

A few hours ago, Bugatti unveiled the limited edition Centodieci at Pebble Beach. The name ‘Centodieci’ means ‘110’ in Italian. It signifies 110 years of the brand and pays homage to one of the greatest hypercars of the 1990s – the Bugatti EB110 SS.

“With the Centodieci, we pay homage to the EB110 super sports car which was built in the 1990s and is very much a part of our tradition-steeped history,” says Stephan Winkelmann, President of Bugatti.

There are quite a few design highlights of the EB110 SS that can be seen on Achim Anscheidt’s creation. There are hints of the EB110 SS all over the car. The front end is low and flat and features slim, horizontal headlights. The horseshoe grille is smaller and moved lower down. It is flanked by a pair of intakes. Moving to the side, you have a wraparound windshield and five circular vents behind the side windows. At the rear, you have tail lights that mimic the rear fascia of the EB110 and a fixed rear spoiler. The exhausts are integrated into the large rear diffuser and are placed in stacks of two.

Now, coming to engine. As reported by us earlier, the Centodieci is the most powerful Bugatti hypercar till date. It is powered by an 8.0-liter W16 engine that delivers 1600 hp @ 7000 rpm. 0-60 mph comes up in 2.4 seconds and the car will hit a top speed of 380 km/h or 236 mph (electronically limited). While it is based on the Chiron, the Centodieci weighs 20 kg less than the regular car, achieving a weight-to-power ratio of 1.13 kg / hp.

Only 10 units of the Bugatti Centodieci will be built and these are already sold out. The price tag on one of these is an eye-watering €8 million ($8.75 million)!
