If recent rumors are to be believed, then Ferrari might be planning to unveil the 812 Spider at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.
According to a Ferrari Chat member, some dealerships in the UK are accepting “expressions of interest” from clients. While, there is no official word yet from Ferrari, the 812 Spider might be launched in the third quarter of 2019, with first deliveries in 2020.
The Ferrari 812 Superfast was unveiled 2 years ago at Geneva. Its predecessor, the F12 Berlinetta was not offered in a convertible body style. Therefore, it is still unclear if the 812 Spider will ever see the light of day.
Fortunately for us, if these rumors turn out to be true, then the 812 Spider could be powered by the same 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine as the coupe. This engine produces a peak output of 800 hp and churns out 530 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Going by the reports, it does seem like an 812 Spider/Convertible/Aperta might be in the works. We are expecting to get some concrete info on it in the coming weeks.
