VIDEO: Straight piped Porsche Carrera GT out and about in London

Straight pipe a Porsche Carrera GT and hoon it around London.

If I were to list the top 3 automotive exhaust sounds, the Porsche Carrera GT would be one of them. Now, a stock Carrera GT has a glorious soundtrack. Straight pipe it and the sound gets even more intense as this Carrera GT with Austrian license plates proved while it was in London.

The Porsche Carrera GT was launched in 2003 and rivaled the Ferrari Enzo. It is powered by a 5.7-litre, naturally-aspirated V10 engine that was initially developed to be used on a Formula 1 car. The engine produced 603 hp @ 8000 rpm and 435 lb-ft of torque @ 5750 rpm. More importantly, it was mated to 6-speed manual gearbox via a carbon clutch which is notoriously difficult to master. Moreover, the car is known for its rev happy engine and its distinct sound.

Doug deMuro once drove the Carrera GT. Watch his video here to know the Doug Score.
