McLaren Beverly Hills hosted a very special supercar recently. A McLaren P1 GTR arrived from the UK at the dealership this month. Dean Lanzante of Lanzante Motorsports flew down to hand over the keys of the P1 GTR to its owner.
The dealership shared a video of the rare exotic as it was delivered to the lucky owner. If I’m not mistaken, this is the third P1 GTR that has been delivered by McLaren Beverly Hills. Previously racer and supercar collector Bruce Canepa collected his pride and joy from here.
The identity of the owner of this new McLaren P1 GTR is unknown at this moment. However, the spec on it proves that this person has good taste. It is finished in McLaren’s historic orange, black and white livery. Their 2017 Formula 1 car also features the same livery.
The McLaren P1 GTR started life as a track car. Lanzante Motorsports modify the car to make it street legal. The car still looks like a race car from every angle.
The interior is void of luxuries you might find in a similarly priced Bugatti Veyron or even a standard P1. It even has a racing steering wheel with buttons and switches that are difficult to fathom.
