McLaren 570S Spider to be Launched in 2017

McLaren today confirmed that an open-top 570S Spider will be launched later this year. A convertible version of the base 540C is however not in the pipeline. “With the 540C, by the time you add options it can cost the same as a 570S, which is why we only offer it in certain markets,” McLaren boss Mike Flewitt said. “And because of that it doesn’t make sense to do a 540C Spider.
